The Zabbia Insurance Agency

The Zabbia Agency is a fourth generation insurance agency established in 1915, specializes in insurance and financial products for individuals, families, and small business.  Founded in New York City by Leo Luca Zabbia, the agency continued to provide comprehensive insurance programs with his son Salvatore.  In 1973, Alexander Zabbia Jr. succeeded his uncle and grandfather and expanded the agency by establishing an office on Long Island.  Robert Zabbia started working with Al in 1996, and has since taken over as President of the Zabbia Insurance Agency.  In 2006, the Zabbia Insurance Agency opened an office in Hyde Park, NY.  Al continues to work with clients along with the experienced staff. 

The Zabbia Agency specializes in property, casualty, life insurance, and financial products.  Our long history proves that developing client relationships based on trust is the most important part of the insurance and financial business.  You will find that we use the latest products and technology to help guide clients to the best insurance and financial products for our client's needs.  We serve clients throughout the New York Metropolitan area, and have built our business on the trust and recommendations of satisfied clients.

Robert Zabbia

Robert Zabbia, CPIA, has been a licensed insurance agent and broker 1996. He is a Certified Professional Insurance Agent with the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society. He is dedicated to helping clients make intelligent decisions about protecting their assets and planning for the future. His patience and determination ensure that every client is treated with high regard.  Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from Hofstra University. He is a Member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association, Member of the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society, and serves on the National Advisory Board and Agency Executive Council.

Robert also serves on the Board of Directors to the National Association of the Remodeling industry, is a member of the Massapequa and Hyde Park Chambers of Commerce.

Robert Zabbia is committed to help you identify and reach your protection needs and financial goals. He will personally study the best products the insurance and financial services industry has to offer and tailor the perfect plan for you.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys his Classic Mustang, cooking, skiing, and coaching his children's sports teams.

 

Alexander Zabbia

Alexander Zabbia, LUTCF, has been a licensed insurance agent since 1973, with Allstate Insurance Company.  He is a Certified Commercial Agent, a Life Underwriting Training Center Fellow.  Alexander is still an active part of the Zabbia Insurance Agency, and enjoys working with clients to make sure that we are meeting their protection needs, and keeping them completely satisfied.  Al is also a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association.

Al sets the standard for the agency in meeting clients needs, and continually mentors Robert and the rest of the Zabbia team.  His experience and understanding is a great asset to our clients, and he is always available to help.

Now that Al has taken a step back from running the agency, he spends more time with his 4 Grandchildren and travels to see his daughters Dawn and Alexis, who live out of state.  Al enjoys to play golf, shares his love of cars with Robert, and enjoys travel and cooking.
